Our entire veterinary team is dedicated to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual patient and owner. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education.
Dr. Trisha Keffer, DVM MS
Dr. Keffer is a graduate of the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 2014, she opened Heartland Veterinary Services as a mobile practice in June of 2015. Two years later, in August of 2017, she opened up the facility located in Oxford, IN. Dr. Keffer enjoys both small and food animal practices. Her interests include surgery, nutrition, urology and beef production medicine. Dr. Keffer's professional affiliations include the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP). She also serves on the advisory board for the Purdue Animal Science Department and the alumni board for the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. In the community she is active as an Extension Board Member and volunteers with the Benton County 4-H Program.
Trisha spends a lot of her time outside of work with her husband, Kyle, and her sons, Kase & Kain. She also has a Wheaten Terrier, Minnie, and two cats, Mollie and Oliver.
Dr. Amy Woods, DVM
Dr. Woods is also a graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and, since graduating in 2004, has had a focus on swine production medicine, and consultation. With her main focus being food animal production and care, Dr. Woods has made a lot of meaningful relationships with livestock farmers in the area by helping to maintain healthy herds and producing safe product. Her professional affiliations include the IVMA, the AVMA, and the AASV.
Aside from work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family: Her husband, John, her two kids, Ava and Blaine, and her mastiff, Allie.
