Job Description - Registered Veterinary Technician
Heartland Veterinary Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician for a newly established and thriving practice in Oxford, IN. We are a full-service, AAHA-acreddited hospital. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional veterinary care that creates a culture focused on preventative medicine and individual care for both small animals and livestock. We are seeking a candidate dedicated to high-quality medicine and surgery and who is always ready to learn. The duties would include:
Assisting the veterinarian and staff with appointment, treatments, surgery, and patient care
Pharmacy and inventory
Client service and education
Emergencies
The desired skills include patient restraint, blood & ruins collections, imaging positioning, anesthesia and surgery assistance, computer skills, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:
An associates degree in veterinary technology
Licensed, certified, or registered (or eligible for license) in the state of Indiana
1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician preferred, but not required
